Urethane Cement Mortar
For the rooms that destroy ordinary coatings: commercial kitchens, coolers, breweries, wash-down bays. Thermal shock, hot water, harsh cleaning, and it keeps working.
Simcrete is Simiron’s urethane cement, built for wash down rooms and thermal shock and specced by name in plenty of food plants. We source it straight when the job calls for the label. Call for pricing.

Before You Pour
Coverage, plainly
Urethane cement is specced by thickness, and thickness is decided by the abuse. Kitchens run heavier builds than dry storage. Tell us the room and we will spec the kit count.
Where it earns the money
Thermal shock is what kills epoxy in kitchens: hot wash-down on a cold slab, day after day. Urethane cement moves with it instead of letting go.
What it pairs with
Often finished with a broadcast for grip and a compatible topcoat for cleanability. Cove base details matter in wash-down rooms; ask us about the full detail.
Shipping and will-call
Ships nationwide from Tracy, CA. Same-day will-call locally. Data sheets, SDS and spec help on request.
Why not just use thick epoxy?
Because a fryer line will boil-shock plain epoxy off the slab. Urethane cement tolerates the thermal cycling that wash-down rooms live on. It costs more because it survives.
Can it handle a walk-in cooler?
Yes, coolers and freezers are exactly its habitat, installed with the right details. Tell us the temps and the schedule.
How fast can the kitchen reopen?
Faster than most expect: urethane cement cures hard quickly and tolerates early moisture. We will give you honest return-to-service numbers for your temps.
Does it need a topcoat?
Depends on the finish and cleanability the room needs. Many get a grouted broadcast plus topcoat. We will spec the full stack, not just the mortar.
Is this a DIY product?
It is a professional product with a working window that punishes hesitation. If it is your first pour, talk to the bench first; that is what we are here for.
