Graded Dry
Quartz Sand
Color-graded, kiln-dried, and sized for double-broadcast systems. Quartz is the floor you spec when the room is going to punish it: kitchens, kennels, locker rooms, wash-downs.

Before You Pour
Coverage, plainly
Figure roughly 0.5 to 1 lb per sq ft per broadcast depending on how heavy you throw, and a true double-broadcast doubles it. Give us the square footage and we will count the bags.
Why kiln-dried matters
Moisture in the aggregate ends up in your coating. Kiln-dried quartz goes in dry, bonds clean, and does not cloud the resin around it.
What it pairs with
Broadcast into the 100% solids build coat, back-roll, repeat for a double broadcast, then grout and seal with the topcoat. We stock every layer of that stack.
Shipping and will-call
Bags ship nationwide from Tracy, CA, and local crews will-call them the same day. Freight on pallet quantities is a phone call.
Whats the difference between this and colored quartz?
This is the clean graded aggregate. If you want color in the floor, the usual route is pigmenting the base coat and broadcasting this into it. Tell us the look and we will spec it.
Is quartz better than flake?
Different tools. Quartz takes harder abuse and gives more texture underfoot; flake hides slab sins and goes down faster. Tell us the room and we will call it straight.
How much texture will the floor have?
You control it with the broadcast weight and how much you grout back. Full grip for a wash-down, smoother for a showroom. We will spec it to the use.
Can I do a single broadcast?
Yes, for lighter-duty rooms. The double broadcast is what earns quartz its reputation in brutal spaces. We will tell you which one your room needs.
Do you sell by the pallet?
Yes. Crews running commercial work order pallets; call the bench for freight pricing and lead time.
