Epoxy is not one product, it is a position in a stack. The base grips the profiled slab and wets into the pores you opened with the grinder. The build coat is the body, the millage that decides whether the floor takes a dropped jack stand or chips at the first hit. The topcoat is what the customer actually touches and sees, and it carries the gloss and the abrasion.
Skip a layer and something else has to do two jobs badly. A build coat asked to be its own topcoat will dull under tires. A base coat asked to be the body will look fine on day one and telegraph every trowel mark by month six. When a Manteca job comes back wrong, the cause is almost always a stack that was shopped one line item at a time rather than specced as a system.
We stock 100% solids resins because the millage you put down is the millage you keep. Solvent-thinned products flash off and leave you with less film than the label implied, which matters most on the coat doing the structural work.

Give us the measured square footage and what tooling you ran on the slab. An aggressive profile pulls more base than a light one, and we would rather size the order up front than have you stretch a coat thin.
Will pot life hold up in a hot Manteca garage?
Not the way the datasheet reads. Heat speeds the reaction and mixed material warms itself in the bucket. Mix only what you can spread, pour early in the day, and call us about a resin with working time that suits your schedule.
Do I still need a topcoat over the build coat?
Yes. The build coat is the body and it dulls under tire traffic if it is left exposed. A clear epoxy or a polyaspartic carries the gloss and the abrasion so the coat underneath keeps doing its job.
Do you install the floor for me in Manteca?
